Dharma Adventures reaffirms our dedication to responsible tourism through the Dharma Karma Society, an integral part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at bringing positive changes to local communities and society at large.
Formed in 2010, the Dharma Karma Society embodies our core values: ‘Dharma’—the virtue of good deeds, and ‘Karma’—the cycle of cause and effect. Our approach targets key areas of social welfare that align with global humanitarian goals. Over the years, the Dharma Karma Society has actively engaged in numerous impactful activities, including social welfare programs, child welfare initiatives, and educational support. Additionally, we focus on women empowerment, fostering community initiatives, and promoting environmental conservation. Through these efforts, we strive to create sustainable and meaningful improvements in the lives of those we serve, demonstrating our commitment to ethical practices and the betterment of society.
The power of giving lies in its ability to uplift, inspire, and create meaningful change….

A heartfelt thank you to Dharma Karma Society, Dharma Adventure, Priyanka Mam, and her wonderful family for sending us such amazing gifts! We are truly grateful for the pillows, bedsheets, soft toys, and the generous donation of 5000 NRS for Dashain sweets. Your special gifts for our SEE graduates have made this festive season even more meaningful!
Your kindness and support mean the world to us and the children of Manjushree.
Dharma Adventures’ financial aid has addressed basic needs like food and education, aligning with our mission to instill mindfulness and compassion. As we reflect on the past 15 years of our partnership, we are filled with gratitude for the positive change that we have collectively brought to the lives of these children. We look forward to continuing this meaningful journey together and furthering our shared commitment to providing a brighter future for those in need.
It was indeed a pleasure to connect and get some cleaning done collectively. Like to thank you for partnering in the endeavor to keep our area and forest clean and we do hope we could continue this over the year as we move ahead. Guess such small initiatives does allow us to take baby steps in our efforts to have a cleaner and greener planet!
Nepal faces a significant challenge with burn injuries, particularly among children under five, identified by the World Health Organization as the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the country. The Sushma Koirala Memorial Hospital in Sankhu provides free Critical care to burn victims from low-income families. Our initiative seeks voluntary monetary contributions from staff, friends and family encouraging a minimum donation to cover the cost of at least one teddy bear. These teddy bears will be given to children undergoing treatment at the hospital, serving as both toys and comforting companions during their hospital stay. To enhance the impact, the company will match each staff donation. This initiative not only fosters a culture of philanthropy within our organization but also amplifies the collective impact of individual contributions. By giving, we aim to bring smiles to the faces of these resilient children and offer a source of joy during their recovery. Together, we extend a hand of compassion and support to those in need.
In many rural and impoverished areas, underprivileged children must contend with various challenges that hinder their educational journey. Poverty, remote locations, and lack of proper infrastructure are some of the key obstacles that keep these children away from the classroom. The main purpose of the Bicycle for Girls Project is to empower girls to be independent and mobile so they can reach school on time. We sponsor bicycles for girl students living outside the Chitwan National Park so they are able to save about 90 minutes daily commute to school. 100% of your contribution will be used for this project. Any remaining fund from the contribution will be used to buy school materials like stationary, books or school bags.
The girls that benefit from this project are all from marginalized families who live in the villages of Chitwan. While any kind of help is appreciated, buying bicycles to go to school and school materials will be more impactful.
