Gambhir’s 22-year journey with Dharma Adventures reflects a story of passion, dedication, and the transformative power of a fulfilling profession.
Born in the remote village of Kavre, Gambhir faced early financial struggles with the absence of a father who served in the army, he was compelled to work from a young age. Seeking a better life, Gambhir moved to Kathmandu, worked odd jobs, learned to drive in 1992, and became a public vehicle driver. Eventually, his passion for tourism and pursuit of financial stability led him to join Dharma Adventures.
Despite facing numerous challenges over the years, Gambhir treats the company as his own and has remained unwaveringly dedicated. He started his career in a rented accommodation while supporting his family, he expresses gratitude to Dharma for fueling professional growth and improving his financial standing. “Today, I am a proud house owner in Kathmandu,” he declares happily. “Both my daughters are settled – one happily married, the other pursuing a bachelor’s degree in New Zealand” he adds.
